WITS

The acronym WITS stands for;

W – Walk Away
I – Ignore them
T – Tell an adult (a teacher or parent)
S – Say stop and stand up for yourself

This acronym is a shared understanding and language of the children in the Junior School that aims to not only put a stop to any bullying but, more importantly, empowers the children to develop a resilience against people who try to intimidate them through bullying type behaviour.
