Information for Parents

What is the Boarding Sub-Committee of the P&F?

We are the parents and friends of all boarding students at All Saints’ College.

What does it do?
We hold one meeting each term, a working bee when required and social events throughout the year. The main social function is held in February or March at the home of a family in a regional location. In the past these events have been held at Grenfell in 2015, Coolah in 2014, Tottenham in 2013, Warren in 2012, Condobolin in 2011 and Nyngan in 2010. Social gatherings are organised to encourage boarding parents to get to know others in the school community. Some members of the school staff usually attend these gatherings, which enables parents to have contact with staff in an informal way.

The Boarding P&F Sub-committee provide help with the Festival of Art and organise a Bottle Stall and raffles at the Spring Fair. There have been cattle, wheat and fleece schemes in the past.

Meeting Times
There are four general meetings annually. The meeting dates are listed on the College calendar, school website and dates for 2017. Information and a reminder are emailed to parents before each meeting and minutes are emailed after. Notices of planned activities are included on the College calendar, the VIM and Weekly Revelations and can be accessed on the College website via the Boarding P&F Link.
