    14 September, 2010

During the upcoming school holidays, Esther Dean (Year 11) will be performing at the Netherlands Military Tattoo in Rotterdam . Esther is a member of the OzScot Australia Highland Dancing team, who this time will be joined by Sydney's Scots College to represent Australia at this event.
Esther is now an experienced and senior member of the OzScot Australia Team.

Over the past few months Esther has been working closely with Dance Director, Cheryl Roach, developing the choreography for the two items which the team of 27 girls will dance at six Tattoo performances.

Esther also helped create the instructional DVDs which were sent to the other members of the team who were selected from all over Australia .

OzScot Australia are world-renowned for their Tattoo items, which combine high-energy Scottish Highland dancing with contemporary segments, and are performed with military precision, usually together with the music of bagpipes and drums.

Esther's cousin, Kate Porter (Year 9) will also be travelling to see a performance of the Tattoo, and join Esther on a brief visit to Scotland following the Tattoo commitments.
