  • Rahamim Fuels Thirst For Knowledge

    31 October, 2017

Year 4 recently had a most enjoyable and educational visit to the Rahamim Ecology Centre in Bathurst.

The beautiful old house, buildings and grounds were a wonderful backdrop to learn local Dreamtime Stories and peak our thirst for more knowledge about the principles of permaculture.

We enjoyed sharing our ‘dirt country’ stories as we sat around the elaborate fire pit.

Both units aligned with our work this year in History and Geography.

We shared a nutritious, sustainably and ethically grown morning tea feast of rhubarb muffins, fresh seasonal fruit and a berry punch that was as visually appealing as it was delicious and refreshing.

We would like to thank Sally and Alicia from the Rahamim Centre for sharing their expertise and culinary delights!
