  • Passing Around the Crazy Hat for WIRES!

    23 November, 2017

The Junior School students wore Crazy Hats to school this week to raise money for the NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service (WIRES).

WIRES Central West is a volunteer organisation and must raise funds regularly to cover the costs of rescue, veterinary services and food for the injured native animals in their care.

The SRC thought that WIRES would be a very worthy local organisation to support and were pleased to give them a cheque for $317.

The money will go towards helping care for some cute little native babies including the wombat and wallaroo pictured below.
