  • Nothing Fantastic About Plastic

    6 June, 2018

    PLASTIC IS NOT FANTASTIC!

Did you know that every bit of plastic that has been produced still exists on our planet?

By 2050, there is expected to be more plastic in the oceans than fish!

In Year 9 Geography, the students have been studying the detrimental effects of plastic on our environment.

As the young voices of society, the students have addressed letters to members of society including Prime Minister Turnbull, the Premier, the Mayor, our Local Member and local supermarkets, to create awareness about the negative impacts of plastic on our oceans, rivers and environment.

Students have rallied for a reduction in the use of plastic in our everyday lives and shifts towards the use of more sustainable products as a method of protecting the environment.

Look out for our future environmentalists!
