• Hockey success for Junior School girls!

  Ailee Blackshaw, Darcie Campbell and Samantha Porter, members of the Under 11s Division 2 District Hockey Team, have done Bathurst proud. The team came runners-up to Lithgow in the June Long weekend Regional Carnival in Canberra.

   

  The team first played together in Parkes in April and showed just how well they have gelled in a short time being undefeated in all their pool games in Canberra.

   

  Coach Jason Jarvis should be congratulated for his work in helping the girls learn new skills and instilling a passion for hockey. It has been an absolute delight working with Jason and the families involved in the team as well as cheering the girls on from the dugout.
