The Year 3 and 4 students travelled to Lake Burrendong Sport and Recreation Centre near Wellington for three days of fun and excitement.
Due to their excellent facilities, the Centre offers a wide range of challenging activities that make the camp experience very valuable and worthwhile to all children.
This year the children went canoeing on Lake Burrendong, overcame the challenge of the huge flying fox, tried their luck on the archery range, went flying down the slopes both on grass skis and on the giant water slide and scaled the enormous rock climbing wall.
The most important experience the children gained from camp was that of team work and camaraderie.
It was impressive to see how supportive the children were of each other in what were some very physically and emotionally challenging activities.
There was a great deal of motivational comments, encouragement and cheering on happening amongst the children.
Thank you to Mrs Allen and Ms Dale for their positive support with the camp. It was clear that they were enjoying the activities as much as the children and their enthusiasm was infectious.
