  • All Saints' Day celebrations

    3 November, 2009

On Sunday, 1st November, 50 boarders and 30 students from Year 3 and 4
were at All Saints' Cathedral to celebrate All Saints' Day. It was the day after the Governor of New South Wales had officially opened the Bell Tower.

The Year 3 and 4 choral students gathered in the new foyer, beneath
the bells along with the Cathedral choir, the Bishop and his clergy for a prayer before the service began. The cathedral was packed and there was a sense or renewal as the community gathered to hear Scripture, pray and participate in the
    Sacrament of Holy Communion.

The Year 3 and 4 students sang as an introit, during communion and at the benediction and the boarders lead the prayers. Many thanks to Mrs Crowley for her musical leadership.

    Father Paul
